Vaunt is an augmented reality “lifestyle” glasses product, designed to keep your head up, instead of buried in your phone. Built on a display technology that seamlessly embeds into normal-looking eyewear, Vaunt allows you to navigate streets, scan grocery lists, and more, all while staying engaged with the world around you.
I lead the User Experience team on Vaunt and was responsible for all UX output. I also drove the interaction design for Vaunt, defining the overall UI structure, behavior, and patterns for the system. This included developing a custom interaction paradigm, which uniquely solved for challenging hardware constraints.

Users could interact with Vaunt by using subtle head nods, or by tapping on the glasses stem.
